What we think about affects how we feel and what we do, and really just has a trickle-down effect on our entire day.
And the things we pay attention to are the things we’re going to think about.
And guess who has control over what we pay attention to?… it’s us.
There are a billion things vying for your attention – begging through flashing lights or eye-catching pictures or click-bait-y headlines for your attention, focus, time, and energy.
Choose wisely what you’re focusing on and putting into your mind. Be intentional about it.
Are the things you’re listening to and reading and spending your time and attention on enlightening your mind and spirit?
Are you focusing on things that help you become the person you want to become?
Be intentional about listening to music and podcasts and audiobooks or reading content online or physically that uplifts, inspires, and motivates you to do the things that bring you closer to who you want to be.
It makes a difference. I promise.
