How to Not Miss Appointments

  • by

My husband may find it ironic that I feel like I have anything to offer when it comes to helping people make it to their appointments on time, since punctuality has never been my strong suit… so please know that I’m also a work in progress here and these are ideas that have helped me improve and that I can share with confidence knowing they’ve helped me 🙂

(I am also managing 8 peoples’ schedules, and this is the only way any of us get where we need to be ever, haha.)

-At the time when you make a commitment or decide you want to go to an activity, put it in your calendar immediately.

-Every night, look at the following day’s events/activities and set alarms in your phone for each one.

-Set the alarm for at least 15 min prior to when you have to leave (that way you can hit snooze on the alarm once). *note that you need to figure out how long it will take you to get to the destination and also how long it will take you and anyone you’re taking to get into the car and set your timer for 15 minutes prior to that

-Consider setting an alarm for when you need to start getting ready as well

-If you need to go back and pick someone up from where you dropped them off, don’t forget to set an alarm for that as well (not speaking from experience here…haha)

If you have any other tricks that work for you, let me know!–I’m always looking for ways to improve 🙂

Thanks!
